Our delivery trucks are standard size dump trucks for the industry. Depending on the area where you want your material dropped, our experienced drivers will do their best to place it in a location suitable to your use.

 Delivery Parameters

  • Because of wet areas on your property as well as other natural and man-made obstacles, Snow's Farm is not responsible for any personal property damage resulting from deliveries where the property owner requests the delivery truck travel beyond the street curb.
  • If the delivery is off the curb or driveway a Snow’s Farm Waiver for Liability for Damage must be signed.
  • There must be no power lines / tree branches above the spot to be dumped. The delivery truck cannot drive over leaching fields or a septic system.
  • A delivery can be made when no one is home under special circumstances; however the customer must sign a Snow’s Farm waiver and must also leave a detailed map of the area or stake out the area with a shovel in the ground or a bucket. The map or staked out area should be as detailed as possible. We are not responsible should a delivery be dumped in the wrong spot.
  • Drivers try to accommodate as many reasonable requests as possible.
  • Please allow 3-5 days advance notice for all deliveries.
  • We reserve the right to adjust prices and or add a fuel surcharge to any deliveries.

     Delivery Prices
All delivery prices are in addition to the price of the product being delivered. If you are out of state or do not see your specific location listed, please contact us for additional information. Tax is not included in any of the prices.

Delivery Truck 1: Small mason-sized dump truck

This vehicle is approximately 8 feet wide, 7 feet tall, and 15 feet long. Deliveries with this vehicle allow the driver more latitude in maneuvering around obstacles than deliveries made with the larger trucks. In addition to 3 yard bulk material deliveries, this truck is also able to deliever small orders of hay bales, seasoned firewood and large Christmas trees.

     Delivery Truck 2: Medium-sized 6-wheel dump truck

6 yard deliveries or 2 x 3 yard deliveries (i.e. you would like 3 yards of mulch and 3 yards of lawn mix) are carried out using a standard medium-sized six wheel dump truck similar to the orange ones used by the State of Connecticut for highway maintenance. This truck is not as maneuverable as Truck 1 and for that reason materials delivered in this quantity are typically dumped in a driveway, flat field, or curbside. In addition to 6 yard and 2 x 3 yard bulk material deliveries, this truck is also used to deliver large orders of hay bales.

     Delivery Truck 3: Large-sized 6-wheel dump truck

10 yard deliveries are carried out using a standard large-sized six wheel dump truck similar to the orange ones used by the State of Connecticut for highway maintenance. This truck is not as maneuverable as Truck 1 and for that reason materials delivered in this quantity are typically dumped in a driveway, flat field, or curbside. In addition to 10 yard bulk material deliveries, this truck is also used to deliver very large orders of hay bales.

     Delivery Truck 4: Extra-large-sized tri-axle 14-wheel dump truck

20 yard deliveries are carried out using a standard extra-large tri-axle 14-wheel dump truck similar to the extra-large orange ones used by the State of Connecticut for highway maintenance and large excavation contractors performing road maintenance. These trucks are not very maneuverable at all and for that reason materials delivered in this quantity are typically dumped in a driveway or large area.
