3 cubic yard bucket of Humus Loam | CLICK TO LEARN MORE As can be seen by the signs in front of our farm, Snow's Farm carries many all natural items for your home or business. Whether it be planting flowers, or recovering your driveway after the snow plow took off all of the stone this past winter, we have the products that you need. In fact, whenever you see a really green lawn in Fairfield County, our material is usually under it; whether it be a country club, a private home, or a commercial establishment, our customers have purchased our products for years because they are all natural and they help them grow whatever it is they want to grow while keeping the area neat and clean.

While we do raise cattle, Christmas trees, and hay, the main focus of our business is organic composting. We use leaves and animal manure to produce rich, fertile, all nautral compost products for the seasoned homeowner and professional landscape contractor. The process of composting is a procedure in which micro-organisms decompose organic matter aerobically into humus, carbon dioxide, and water. Composting is the natural means of breaking down the organic waste products (manure and leaves) into a stable soil enrichment and ammendment product.

In addition to our composted products, we offer our customers an entire complement of gardening, landscaping, and groundskeeping products to make their lawn and surrounding areas appear in a very aesthetically pleasing way yet at the same time being economically sound by their being 100% pure and natural.

 Product Availability
Our products are available for pickup in the yard of our farm or for delivery direct to your location. If you want to come and visit us to purchase your products, that's great; since us farmers live here on the farm, there is practically always somebody here to serve you. From the early morning when the sun rises, until the late day when the sun sets, there usually is a somebody around to help you out with anything that you might need. If it is around a holiday time, or on a Sunday, it might be a good idea to contact us before you make a trip here, but for the most part we're on the land! We do on occasion take a little bit of time off, but not often. Once you get here, you have a choice of our wide variety of products. Some of our products are seasonal (i.e. Christmas trees, firewood); if you have a question about the availability of a certain product at a specific time of the year, please contact us.

 Product Packaging
Our products are packaged in various types of material depending on the item. Most are available in either bags, bales, or bulk. Specific information on each product is available under its' respective section here on this website. All the material we sell in bulk is available to be purchased at our yard in a 3 yard quantity (top picture), or if that is too much, we are able to split the bucket in half and give you 1-1/2 yards. A good rule of thumb to go by is that of a full size 1 ton pickup truck with an 8 foot bed (i.e. Chevy 3500, Ford F350, or Dodge Ram 3500 - NOT the 1/2 ton (1500, F150), 3/4 ton (2500, F250), or Nissan Titan / Toyota Tundra derivatives). This type of truck will usually hold a full 3 yards of dry material; if the material is wet, or if you have a midsize pickup truck, it is usually wise to split the bucket in half. If you do not have a truck or need a large quantity, we offer delivery of any of the natural products we sell direct to your home or business location. Servicing these needs is our full fleet of trucks available to carry 3, 6, 10, or 20 cubic yards. For our bulk delivery service, the minimum quantity is 3 cubic yards. For more information on how little or how much material you may need, please see our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section.
